Lip Pigmentation Enhancement
What is a Lip Tattoo?
As we age our lips lose their fullness and colour, and the natural vermilion border diminishes. A Cosmetic Lip Pigmentation Enhancement can help restore lips to their youthful appearance, while also correcting asymmetries and re-defining natural lip contours for a more perfect pout!
What types of lip pigmentation enhancements are available and in what colours?
Select your perfect shade from our extensive range of deliciously vibrant lip colours. Softly muted nude pinks, peaches and browns, bold siren reds and juicy plums are available. Alternatively bring in your favourite lipstick and lipliner for your Monaco Lip Artist to colour match! Your Monaco Lip Artist can also suggest a number of different types of pigment enhancing procedures based on your desired look.
Natural Lip Contour: re-define and enhance the contours of your lips with a soft liner or more dramatically refined line.
Contour & Soft Blush Shading: for that ‘just bitten’ youthful look, a softly sheer blush of colour will create a natural looking fullness to your mouth. This style of lip tattoo is a great choice for the ‘au naturale’ girl who wants a subtle enhancement of her natural lip colour.
Full Lip Tint: colour is applied across the entire lip area, enhancing your mouth, correcting asymmetries and making it shapelier. This lip tattoo procedure closely imitates the appearance of a full lipstick application for a more glamorous look.
Ombre Lips: this application method involves a darker border with gradual shading on the inner lip, still providing a naturally full look.
How does the Procedure work?
Your Monaco Permanent Makeup Artist will help you decide on the desired look you wish to achieve. From there, your lips will be numbed with a topical numbing cream. Once you are fully numbed, the pigment will be deposited to the lip with an electric fine tip pen into the epidermal skin layer.
Who is a good candidate?
Ideal for women wanting fuller, more defined lip contours, a Cosmetic Lip Tattoo Enhancement takes the hassle out of reapplying lip liner and lipstick throughout the day.
When will I see results and when can I return to everyday activities?
Results are immediately visible however, your lip colour will naturally fade once your lips are fully healed approximately 1-2 weeks following your initial appointment. Your Monaco Lip Artist will provide you with detailed instructions regarding post procedure care however, swimming, saunas, direct sunlight, picking, peeling and scratching must be avoided for the first ten days following your appointment.
