Microblading - Eyebrow Embroidery
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup procedure that allows for the dramatic correction and reconstruction of lost eyebrows. Using a small blade 3 times thinner than the needles used in other machines, pigment is deposited by hand into the basal layer of skin creating hair-like strokes. This procedure is ideal for anyone looking to correct, define, re-shape, fill in or fully reconstruct over-plucked brows.
How does the Procedure work?
Your appointment will start with a consultation where you and your Monaco Brow Artist will discuss the shape, and effect you are trying to achieve. Next a numbing cream is applied to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. Your Monaco Brow Artist will then begin to make tiny strokes by hand to enhance your brow line and overall brow shape.
Who is a good candidate?
A good candidate is someone looking for more brow definition, shape and symmetry in their eyebrows, in part or overall! At Monaco, we believe everyone is a good candidate for microblading. It is the most natural form of eyebrow permanent makeup. Naturally as we age, our eyebrows become more sparse, microblading is great for “filling in the gaps” and recreating the shape of your brows.
When will I see results and when can I return to everyday activities?
Results are immediately visible. Brows may look slightly darker right after your treatment but will slowly fade to a more natural colour as the pigment is absorbed. For optimal results we encourage clients to schedule a follow-up appointment within 4-6 weeks following their initial appointment.
