Aesthetics isn’t about perfection. It’s about choice
— Nurse Jacquie

Jacqueline graduated from the Practical Nursing Program at Mohawk College in 2008 and began her career in bedside nursing. She gained experience working on medical, cardiology, and stroke units before training as an Operating Room Nurse, where she first developed an interest in medical aesthetics through her work alongside plastic surgeons.

Although aesthetics was appealing, Jacqueline’s path led her toward entrepreneurship. Inspired by her grandmother, a former Registered Nursing Assistant (RNA), she founded Grand River Nursing. Her home care company was rooted in traditional, compassionate care. Which she operated just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the pandemic, Jacqueline revisited her passion for aesthetics and completed advanced training in injectables through the CAMA Institute. She has since expanded her scope to include laser therapy, PCDC injectables, sclerotherapy, B12 injections, and wellness IV drips, blending medical expertise with a focus on overall well-being.

Jacqueline has come to understand that almost everyone, at some point, feels vulnerable about how they look — even those who seem the most confident. She often finds herself wondering: If we weren’t so focused on what we think are our flaws, what else could we be thinking about? How much space could that free up in our lives?

For Jacqueline, aesthetics isn’t about chasing perfection — it’s about choice. She believes all women and men have the right to decide how they want to look, act, and express themselves. That sense of autonomy is powerful, and Jacqueline sees her role as supporting and enhancing that journey, never defining it for anyone. Helping people feel more like themselves, more confident, more comfortable  is what truly drives her in this work.

In her spare time, you can always find Jacqueline chauffeuring  her teenagers around, designing and sewing clothes or at a drum lesson.
