Ashley recently graduated from Fleming College as a registered practical nurse at the beginning of 2023. She has had clinical experiences in placements such as Fair Haven Long Term Care Residency, medical-surgical, and maternity floor at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, various areas in the mental health ward at PRHC, and consolidated in the emergency room at BGH. She worked at the Brantford General Hospital on the medical floor to start her nursing journey, then decided to pursue her real passion in the health and beauty industry earlier this year by completing courses and getting certified for dermal fillers and neuromodulators at APT training. Her passion and dedication for the industry started at a young age, as her mom owned her own hair salon, where Ashley spent a lot of her time and helped out when needed. She has years of customer service skills through various positions in retail and as an animal care attendant/receptionist.

Lina graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from McMaster University in 2017 and started her nursing career in the hospital assisting physiatrists perform spinal steroid injections. Lina was inspired to pursue medical aesthetics after receiving injectables herself. She wanted to help people feel the same way she did – more confident. Lina obtained her Medical Esthetic Practitioner (MEPN) certification from Centennial College where she learned about skin and facial anatomy, laser and light therapy, and fillers and neuromodulators. Shortly after, she continued her hands-on training for neuromodulators and dermal fillers at the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics.

My name is Madina Oryia and I started my nursing career in 2013. I have worked in several medical settings over the past nine years including retirement, long term care and different departments in the hospital setting. Before getting into my nursing career, I worked in many retail stores in several management positions. I am currently working at St. Mary’s General Hospital on one of the medicine units where I assess, monitor, and advocate for my patients as well as collaborate with a variety of other healthcare team members to meet the complex needs of my patients. I also supervise and help educate students and other healthcare assistants to expand their knowledge and support them in a variety of ways in what they do.

Tiffany is a compassionate nurse with a relentless eye for detail. Her healthcare journey began long before she graduated York university in 2020 with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. With over 8 years experience in the medical field spanning across Pediatric clinics to Humber River Hospital, to even the world renowned Sickkids Hospital. At Sickkids Hospital, she worked on the Paediatric Medicine and Infectious disease unit where she provided family-centered care for patients with an array of diagnoses, as well as complex care children and their families. During the pandemic, she worked in the frontlines, caring for COVID+ patients in the hospital. She found reward in forming trusting, therapeutic relationships, and making a positive impact on the little humans and their families.

Arsema started her nursing career in 2020 after graduating from the Registered Practical Nursing program at Humber College. She began her clinical experience at Trillium Hospital as part of the Clinical Resource Team where she was sourced out to every department including the Emergency Room, Medicine, Mental Health, Surgery, Cardiology, and the Covid Unit. While at the hospital, she also worked with Peel Public Health as an immunizer for the Mass Vaccination Program. Following her experience there, she was offered a full time position with Peel Public Health where she currently works as an educator on their Training Team. This role allowed Arsema to facilitate and develop several training programs such as on-boarding nurses for the Mass Vaccination Program, Routine School Based program, Homebound Immunizations, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Immunizations.
